1001 New Worshipping Communities: Feel called to start or support a new worshipping community or plant a new church? This workshop offers an overview of the new worshipping community process in San Gabriel Presbytery. – Led by Rev. Becca Bateman, Associate Pastor of Family Ministries at San Marino Community Church, and Jonathan Hughes, Pastor of LaVerne Heights Presbyterian and Vice-Moderator of San Gabriel Presbytery and various San Gabriel Presbytery church planters.

Review some of the best practices at work in the San Gabriel Presbytery. – Led by Deborah Owens, Early Child Development Educator at Glendale Community College and Ruling Elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Pasadena.
Websites That Attract: One of the most important tools for attracting church visitors is a clear, engaging, useful website. This workshop will highlight some basic must-haves for every church website and troubleshoot common pitfalls. No technical expertise needed. – Led by Jennifer Ackerman, Director of Operations and Director of Micah Groups for the Ogilvie Institute of Preaching at Fuller Seminary.
Clerks Training: A review of the responsibilities, best practices, and resources available for the clerk of session. – Led by Rev. Diane Frasher, Stated Clerk of San Gabriel Presbytery.
Missional Outreach Skills: A primer for those wanting to learn concrete skills to help your church be a blessing in your community. This workshop offers an optional 4-session training either online or in-person run by Bridges and supported by the Vision and Strategy Team of San Gabriel Presbytery. – Led by Rev. Jim Milley, Director of Bridges, which helps ordinary Christians, leaders, and congregations engage people who live outside existing church culture.
Helping Churches Discuss Race Issues: Issues of race and racism impact us all on a daily basis, and many churches are struggling to discern how to foster healthy and gracious dialogue in their communities. This workshop will address how to discuss race and racism in our churches in Southern California. – Led by Rev. Dr. Eric H. F. Law of the Kaleidoscope Institute, which provides resources and training for building inclusive community, intercultural competency, and community transformation.
